The Quintessa Estate is located at 1601 Silverado Trail. The winery is situated on the west side of Silverado Trail, immediately north of the intersection of Rutherford Cross Road and Conn Creek Road. At Quintessa we believe the best way to truly experience our commitment to quality is to take a guided private tour of our property and winery.

Private and intimate reservations are available to visitors by appointment only between 10am and 4pm daily. Your visit will be customized to your liking. Tours give the visitor a comprehensive look at our vineyard, winemaking facility and underground caves. Guests will be given the option of walking to the vineyards behind the winery to a scenic overlook of the property and sweeping views of the land encompassing the Rutherford Appellation*. Visitors will then be shown through the Quintessa winery and caves. As tours bring the visitor through natural vineyard terrain and into our active winery, comfortable shoes are recommended. All tours culminate in a relaxed sit-down tasting at a private table. We are currently tasting three vintages of Quintessa.

Visitors are welcome by appointment only. Our tasting fee is $65 per person.

*Weather permitting. Special accommodations will be made for visitors who are unable to join us for the walking portions of the tour. Parties of 10 or more will need to make special arrangements due to seating limitations. We apologize, but our permit does not allow for picnicing.
